thanksgiving in humboldt

this happened a while but i found pictures from it. my mom went to Mississippi to do hurricane relief with a friend. my sister's birthday is right around Thanksgiving so her boyfriend Steve flew me up as a present to her. I was stoked, so much better than driving five hours by myself. she has a nice apartment type place. the living room is a bachelor pad but better because she keeps it super clean. her room is decorated very nicely to her liking. about two months ago i was eating and swallowed a ball of my tongue ring. I took out the barbell and it closed up because i didnt put something in. when i went to humboldt, we went to her piercer and i got my labret and tongue pierced in one session. i had a sore mouth for a while. they are almost healed now after about two and a half weeks. i havent cut back on smoking so it is prolonging the healing process.

Saturday Night

So I went to Petaluma to get clothes and a Christmas tree with my mom. On the way back, picked up Paris and went to Bolinas. We took acid when we got there, not very pure stuff, but it was fun. We spent the afternoon and into the night with Zack, Ty, Joe, Cooper, and Aaron. This kid Will and his stepdad came out from MV to pick up a satchel. My mom wasn't at home so we hung out here for about three hours. Then I drove Paris to Kentfield and dropped her off with some friends. I saw this girl I haven't seen for over half a year when I dropped her off. Always nice to see old friends.

haikus

Soft glow of solace
Found amidst Costa Rica
Olive skinned daydreams

Dark winds disperse clouds
Over exhausted prairies
Clutching mountainntops

Eyes rove the night sky
Repositioning my soul
To the heavens above

smoking a spliff on an empty stomach

reflecting on hypothetical romance,

poor eating habits,

and Saturday morning cartoons I have never seen.

wallowing

on warm sand.

gold-tinged summer evenings

and constant sunsets.
